Welcome to Harmoe World

Harmoe is a seiyuu unit made up by Haruki Iwata and Moeka Koizumi. They are most known for their works in Revue Starlight, D4DJ, and Love Live!, but they are also known for acting in many assorted stage plays aswell. They were formed in December 2020, but made their debut in march of 2021 with their single "Kimagure Ticktack". They held their first live in August 2022, and the second will be held in July 2023. The general themes of their singles are based off of different fairy tales. This is different, however, in their first album, in which all the orginal songs for the album itself are all different fairy tales as opposed to just one. The two members seem to be very close as they've been working together for 6~ years now, first meeting in the cast of Revstar, and even started a streaming broadcast together many years prior to even forming a unit. The closeness between the two helps a lot with their on stage chemistry, being in complete harmony... get it? I'm sorry. Their main genre is Dance Pop, but that gets mixed up in their (as of writing this) latest release that I'll get onto later. That's the basic rundown of this group!

Enter Villains World?

Significance to me!

I got into Harmoe a while after I got into Revstar, around December 2022. I had tried to get into them earlier but at first the genre wasn't really for me, but it eventually grew on me! The reason I didn't really like it initially is because in earlier singles I didn't really feel like they were using these women's voices to their full potential, as I had heard their work on Revue Starlight and was spoiled by it. Though as I continued listening I realized that as the singles go on they just get better and better, getting more experimental. Plus I like Pop in general, this was just a boot I needed to break in. My favorite single of theirs is definitely Futari Pinocchio, which isn't suprising considering the person who wrote the lyrics for the title track also worked on lyrics for Revstar songs... God I'm gonna mention Revue Starlight a lot in this huh? Fun game time! Take a sip of a drink everytime I mention it. Anyways I really like the very doll-like sounds in each song, plus the instrumental of Electric Spotlight Girls kinda reminds me of something Kikuo would have in his earlier songs! I like this single so much it was the first CD of theirs that I bought! One of many I'm sure. Also I adore how each single is fairy tale themed, it's such a cool gimmick to me. Ahh I'm holding off of talking about my favorite piece of theirs because I'm saving it for my Villains World part of this shrine. Ah! Onto the actual significance! This unit makes me absurdly happy. Which is really important to me as my depression has been awful. The two members voice my two favorite Revue Starlight characters, Nana and Mahiru, and in general I find their personalities very nice. Moeka (Atleast what she puts out there) reminds me of myself and kinda gives me faith in my own dreams. Like if she can do it, surely I can too, right? Also seeing the two's friendship makes me happy aswell. They're both really funny together and on their own. It makes me miss seeing my friends and doing stupid shit with them. Oh yeah, this is the first sorta idol unit I've ever been into. Like yeah I've been into fictional idols for awhile and I never thought I'd get into a real one but here we are. Also yes... *clenches fist* I do find the women pretty, I am but a simple lesbian. I think that's all I have to write about here! All I have left to say is I hope this unit continues to grow and gain more success! I am exited on where they will go from here!
